This seated gilt-bronze Jijang Bodhisatva statue was made in 1476. it is assumed to be from the end of the Goryeo dynasty and the beginning of the Joseon dynasty. This Buddha statue has a hood covering its forehead, the hem of which hangs down to the lower part of its chest, and his tunic covers both shoulders and legs. This statue emphasizes the Buddha's clothing rather than its solid beauty. However, his hands were expressed very realistically. His oval-shaped round face conveys a tender and generous expression but his eyes show dignity. The necklace design on his chest and the two-chained bracelet on the wrist are impressive.
