  Mt. Seonunsan wins popularity for its four season's beautiful scenery all around the year. Camellia in spring, garden zinnia in summer and maple in autumn are very beautiful.
『Naeguemgang of Honam』, the Mt. Seonunsan (336m) was appointed as Provincial Park in 1979.
Due to Seonunsa temple's fame, this mountain's name was changed into Seonunsan but it is also widely known as Mt. Dosolsan.
A fantastic rock, stones and excellent scenic spots are seen in everywhere, especially the valley is very deep and water is clean.
Besides, thousand-year ancient temple Seonunsa is situated in the middle of thick forest.
It is said that the main temple was built 1,500 years ago by priest Geomdan and Chamdanaam temple did by priest Uiun who teacher of King Jinheung.
Maple tree forest drooping to the streamside in front of temple present flaming magnificent sight and it forms the two great maple superb scene with Naejangsa.
It is tinged rather slowly than others.
While going on about 2km from the main temple along the little stream, there are 'House of Nature' (educational training institute), Jangsasong pine tree stretching branches in eight and Jinheung cave where King Jinheung cultivated himself in his last days.
Mt. Seonunsan Provincial Park is scattered with many famous spots such as Nakjodae where you can enjoy charming spectacle of sunset and Seonhakam temple where Taoist hermit was used come down from sky riding on crane and play.
Besides, there are Bongduam and Sajaam temple, Yongmun cave, Manwoldae, Cheonwangbong, Yeoraebong, Ingyeongbong, Guhwangbong and Nojeokbong peak and so forth.

1) Gochang  Seonunsa Temple: direct bus: 8times, county bus: 24times / 30minutes required / 20km distance.
2) Heungdeok Seonunsa Temple: direct bus: 4times, county bus: 50minutes intervals / 35minutes required / 16km distance.
3) Jeongeup Seonunsa Temple: direct bus: 4times/ 50minutes required / 34km distance.
4) Gwangju Seonunsa Temple: direct bus: 8times/ 1 and half hour required / 72km distance.
