Jeongeupsa Cultural
Event and Mt.Naejangsan Maple Festival opens from
November 1 to 5 annually. The event opens for the
ballad<Jeongeupsa> and to pay tribute to a
sorrowful woman of Baekje. People can feel the tradition
of Baekje by attending exhibitions of paintings,
poems, photos |

concert. Mt.Naejangsan Maple Festival opens at its height
in the season of maples. There are various events including
the contest of manufacturing totem poles. |

It opens for 2 days
from May 10-Donghak Farmers' Army won the battle
of Hwangtohyeon on the day-. There are a ceremony
of victory, a worship at |

the site of
the battle field and folk plays. And it is worth attending
the festival of plume flowers that is being held on the
road toward Naejangsa. |

People usually enjoy
the tug-of-war on January 15 but Jeongyangri tug-of-war
is held the next day. When the game is over, people
hang the tug on |

the shoulder
and pitch camps. And then they pile it up windingly on
the mountain of the village and have a ritual there for
the peace of the village. |

This show doesn't allow
men to attend and only women celebrate the event,
which could be seen nowhere else. It opens either
January 15 or February 2. They have a ritual for
the good harvest and peace of the village |

pants but now they don't do the normal dance. |
