Mt.Seonunsan is called
as Naegeumgang of Honam and 10 peaks including Guksabong,
Cheonmabong, Suribong are connected one another.
It has beautiful scenery of camel shaped rocks,
helmet shaped rocks and standing rocks that are
joined harmoniously. It was a great temple that
Geumdanseonsa established in 577(king Wuideok of
Baekje) and 3 thousand monks ever lived there. It
was almost demolished during |

Jeongyujaeran(Japanese
invasion) and Wonjundaesa reconstructed it in the year
of king Gwanghaegun 6th year. There are 10 provincial
cultural assets. Camellia flowers are in full bloom in
spring. |

): It has another name
of Moyangseong. The castle was made of natural stones
in 1453 by the best use of geographical features
setting up the shapes of Blue Dragon to the left
and White Tiger to the right (an old belief of our
ancestor) in order to defend Japanese invasion.
There are Dongheon, Jakcheong, Gaeksa, Gongbokru,
Jineoru, and Cheokhwabi. |

There is a legend
that if a man go around this castle three times on one
of the days of a leap month, he can enjoy longevity with
no disease and can go to heaven after death. People still
enjoy the going around the castle.

second hot spring of germanium found after the French
hot spring of Lourdes. It is known to be effective
to prevent the disease of cancer. The water is drinkable
and is known to be effective to cure patients |

The spring contains cerium of tocopherol and has a therapeutic
effect for hypertension, diabetes, neuralgia and arthritis
